I cannot connect over Remote Desktop

Work through this list; most problems are solved by one of these.

1. Check the server shows Active under My servers. A Pending server is still being built.
2. Copy the IP address from the server page rather than typing it.
3. Use the user name Administrator and the latest password.
4. Try another network, for example your phone's hotspot. Some office and school networks block port 3389.
5. Wait two minutes after a restart before connecting again.
